Bahrain Mirror: Member of Al-Wefaq General Secretariat, Sayed Taher Al-Mousawi, expressed that the parliamentary proposal to change the Friday holiday to Saturday and Sunday is "strange" and its timing is "suspicious."
Al-Mousawi said, in a post on the "X" platform on Wednesday (January 17, 2024) that "the proposal appears to be part of a plan to destroy everything agreed upon in our country, so that nothing remains subject to consensus," pointing out that "Friday is the Muslim holiday."
