Bahrain Mirror: The Americans for Democracy and Human Rights in Bahrain (ADHRB) condemned the arrest of prominent Bahraini opposition figure, Ibrahim Sharif, and his suspension over expressing his opinion through "X" platform.

 ADHRB considered Sharif's arrest "a clear violation of freedom of opinion and expression guaranteed by international charters ratified by Bahrain."

It further stated that "the prominent opposition figure Ibrahim Sharif's opinions reflect the one expressed by many Bahraini people through protests denouncing the attack on Gaza, but the Bahraini government is still repressing these opinions, arresting more than 35 people since last October."

The organizations called on the authorities to immediately release Sharif, and urged Bahrain to stop restricting activists through the criminalization freedom of expression.
