Bahrain Mirror: The UN committee on evaluating the performance of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) in Bahrain postponed the decision on the institution’s classification to a full year.

The Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI) identified in its report the “insufficient engagement with civil society institutions” as a factor for this decision.
