BCHR: Detainee Abdulhai Al-Khawaja Has Right to Attend His Brother's Funeral Procession According to Prisons Law

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain Center for Human Rights offered its condolences to its detained former president, Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja, on the death of his brother.
The center confirmed, in a post on its "X" platform on Monday, January 22, 2022, the right of Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja to attend his brother's funeral ceremony in accordance with the Prison Law, which stipulates that "the prisoner has the right, in accordance with local prison law and international law, to be able to attend the burial ceremony of his family."
