More than 400 Political Detainees in Jaw Prison Refuse to Receive Breakfast Meal, Threaten to Start Hunger Strike

Bahrain Mirror: More than 400 political detainees in Jaw Central Prison refused to receive breakfast, this morning, Wednesday, January 10, 2024, in protest against the security isolation and to demand that they be returned to the buildings from which the prison administration took them out, and that the demands of their previous strike be responded to, and that Mr. Hasan Mushaima be allowed to receive treatment.
Political detainees threatened to go on a comprehensive hunger strike if the prison administration did not respond to their demands.
Prisoners in security isolation had assaulted and beaten a number of political detainees who are suffering from increasing restrictions.
