Bahrain Mirror: Minor prisoners in Dry Dock prison began on Sunday, December 24, 2023, a new hunger strike against the ill-treatment they suffer and not meeting their demands.
Al-Wefaq said that "the demands of the minor convicts include improving the quality of their meals, enabling them to bring clothes into prison, obtaining special visits that strengthen their family ties, and maintaining buildings, especially in light of lack of warm water in winter."
The young convicts have started hunger strike several times in recent months, but the Dry Dock administration and the Ministry of Interior ignored their demands.
Sources expected that "Dry Dock" prison would witness an escalation in the detainees' protests and an increase in their pressure to meet their demands.
