US Aircraft Carrier "Eisenhower" Enters Gulf Waters after Seizure of Israeli Ship

Bahrain Mirror: The US aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower passed through the Strait of Hormuz into the waters of the Gulf, US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed on Monday.
"On Nov. 26, the Carrier Strike Group Eisenhower (IKECSG) completed a transit of the Strait of Hormuz to enter the waters of the Arabian Gulf as the Strike Group continues to support USCENTCOM missions," the command said on X.
The command added that "the strike group would carry out patrols to ensure freedom of navigation along key international waterways, as well as support "CENTCOM requirements throughout the region."
Eisenhower's move came after news that a new Israeli ship, Central Park, owned by Israeli businessman Eyal Ofer, was seized off the Yemeni coast on Sunday, November 26, 2023.
On Sunday evening, November 19, 2023, the Yemeni armed forces announced that "the naval forces of the Yemeni armed forces carried out a military operation in the Red Sea, one of the results of which was the seizure of an Israeli ship and taking it to the Yemeni coast."
