Bahrain Mirror: Sheikh Mohammad Sanqour, Friday preacher at the Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque, located in Diraz, expressed that "the war on Gaza is still at the forefront of the scene around the world because it is not like traditional wars that break out between two powers, but rather a war of another nature waged by a brute force," explaining that it is "a war sponsored by world powers and supported by various means of oppression that urge their persistence in lethal force and destruction without accountability or condemnation."
In his Friday sermon delivered on November 17, 2023, Sheikh Sanqour pointed out that "the opposite of this force waging war is not an equipped army, but children, women, workers, farmers, doctors, teachers and journalists," as "the target of the war machine is the bodies of these children, women, the unsuspected, their homes, schools, hospitals, farms, markets, sustenance and various sources of their livelihood."
He went on to say that it is therefore not a traditional war, it is a war on humanity.
He further stressed that "this enemy, and those behind it, are the makers of terrorism not only in the land of Palestine but throughout the Islamic world," considering that "the hotbeds of terrorism in various locations are their creation and the men of terrorism are their tools and soldiers." Sheikh Sanqour called on the Islamic nation to "multiply its efforts to expose the reality of this enemy and its supporters to the Western peoples and to inform them by various available means that their leaders are the ones who manufacture and finance terrorism and then leave it to attack its victims."
While stressing that "this war has exposed the falsity of this false media and awakened people to the fact that the Islamic nation must build on by various available means," he called on the nation to "deepen this awakening and inform the Western peoples that their leaders planted in the heart of the Islamic world a savage gang and enabled it by various means of force to usurp land that is not theirs, colluded with them to displace the owners of the land and forcibly displace them from their homeland, and allowed them to seize their homes and farms and desecrate their sanctities."
Sheikh Sanqour further stated that "the horrific massacres and war crimes that the world is witnessing today are only an episode in a series of massacres and crimes that date back to more than 7 decades," noting that the "Al-Aqsa flood" was nothing but a reaction from which the Palestinian people wanted to seek to defend themselves, recover their land and restore their lost rights, as the Palestinian people have not found a way to recover them except through the path of resistance and struggle."
He highlighted that the "Al-Aqsa flood" was not an infringement as promoted by the usurping entity and its supporters, but rather a defense and struggle which through it the Palestinian people seek to protect themselves from this bloodthirsty entity, and seek the liberation of its usurped land and the preservation of its holy sites."
He explained that this brutal enemy, which is portrayed by the false Western media as a victim of terrorism, has never hesitated to kill innocent people and target them with many different forbidden weapons.
