Public Prosecution Releases Journalist Mohammad Al-Ghasra after Investigating Him

Bahrain Mirror: The Public Prosecution said that it began (Wednesday, February 16, 2022) investigating journalist Mohammad Al-Ghasra, who manages Delmon Post website, and then ordered his release.
The Anti-Cyber Crimes directorate said that it summoned the manager of the Delmon Post News Website and referred him to the Public Prosecution for posting false news on the meeting between representatives of some societies and a foreign body.
The prosecution announced the commencement of investigation of website manage for posting false news about some people. The investigation was conducted in the presence of head of Bahrain Journalists' Association.
Delmos Post website had published a report including information on a meeting of the new US ambassador to Bahrain Steven Bondy with "Ahmed Al-Khuzaie, Ousama Al-Bahrana, Hussein Al-Rubaie and Huda Al-Mahmoud" as representatives of civil society institutions.
