Bahrain Asks Lebanon Ambassador to Leave Country within 48 Hours
2021-10-30 - 4:44 p
Bahrain Mirror: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bahrain announced that it had asked the Lebanese ambassador to Bahrain, Milad Nammour, to leave the Kingdom within the next 48 hours, over what it described as a series of unacceptable and offensive statements and stances issued by Lebanese officials recently.
The ministry clarified that this decision does not affect the Lebanese brothers residing in the Kingdom.
This decision comes following the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which made a similar decision and recalled its ambassador in Beirut for consultations and decided to stop Lebanese imports. This was triggered by previous statements made by the current Lebanese Minister of Information, George Kordahi, criticizing the war in Yemen and describing it as absurd, before he became a minister.
