Journalist Nazeeha Saeed Wins Mohamed Hassanein Heikal Award for Arab Journalism

Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini journalist Nazeeha Saeed won Mohamed Hassanein Heikal Award for Arab Journalism for 2021, organized by Mohamed Hassanein Heikal Foundation for Arab Journalism in Egypt since 2018. Bahraini Nazeeha Saeed won the incentive award for her uniqueness in covering women's issues in the Arab Gulf countries. Egyptian journalist Mohamed Abul-Gheit also won the prize for his investigative articles on Syria and Yemen.
Winners receive commemorational medals, in addition to 250,000 Egyptian Pound (approximately $16,000).
Through these awards, the Mohamed Hassanein Heikal Foundation aims to honor the journalists of the Arab world who have distinguished themselves in their journalistic work.
These awards aim to help them develop their skills, and to complete the means and tools required by this ancient profession to keep pace with everything new in a world that does not stop developing.
The awards are granted annually in a simple ceremony on the birth anniversary of Heikal, September 23.
