Bahrain Mirror: Hasan Mubarak, 15, has been arrested since 4 days, during which he was not allowed to meet his family.
Legal counsel Ibrahim Sarhan wrote on his Twitter page that "Mubarak was not allowed to contact or meet his lawyer and was not brought before the family and children's prosecution, which makes his arrest an enforced disappearance. This is in violation of the Criminal Procedure Act and Law No. 4 of 2021 on children."
The Act stipulates the "Children who are below the minimum age of criminal responsibility at the time of the commission of an offence cannot be held responsible in criminal law proceedings."
Hasan Mubarak's family said they are seriously concerned about his safety. They demand that human rights and official institutions protect him from torture and arbitrary detention.
