Supporter of Bahraini Movement Shafiq Al-Ghabra Dies in Kuwait

Bahrain Mirror: Academic and political analyst Shafiq Al-Ghabra died on (September 4, 2021) in Kuwait after a struggle with the disease.
Kuwaiti media reported that the 68-year-old academic suffered from cancer since the beginning of 2021.
Throughout his career, Al-Ghabra gave numerous lectures in political science and was a daily columnist for several newspapers.
Al-Ghabra descends from the occupied city of Haifa and is the son of Doctor Nazim Al-Ghabra. Al-Ghabra, who holds a PhD in political science, taught for years at Kuwait University.
Al-Ghabra is one of the most prominent supporters of the political rights of the people of Bahrain and their demands for freedom and democracy.
He believed that "the continuity of the Bahraini movement stems from its right." In one of his comments on Twitter, he said that "the Bahraini movement has been right from the beginning, that's why it did not disappear," pointing out that "the impasse continues in Bahrain, awaiting a just political solution."
