Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): In its two final episodes of the second season, the "Fact-Finding" program, broadcast by the LuaLua Satellite TV Channel, revealed hundreds of state appointments in Bahrain on a tribal and family basis between 1970 and 2021, in the ministerial, security and judicial bodies, in an episode titled: "Tribal Distribution in the State."
The program presented by the Chairman of the Bahrain Forum for Human Rights, Baqer Darwish, reviewed the analysis of 578 appointments to high or public positions for eleven tribes and families from January 19, 1970 to May 19, 2021 issued through: (Amiri decrees, decisions of the Prime Minister, decisions of the Council of Ministers, decisions of the Crown Prince Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, Royal Decrees). In addition, the program analyzed the percentage of the same tribes in the security system by analyzing 3370 medals awarded to Bahraini individuals and 225 medals awarded to non-Bahraini figures from December 19, 1976 to July 19, 2020.
As for the names of the tribes or families, they are as follows: Al-Nuaimi, Al-Ma'awdah, Al-Mosalim, Al-Dosari, Al-Jalahma, Al-Buainain, Al-Arayedh, Al-Suweidi, Al-Zayani, Al-Thawadi, Al-Binali.


Al-Dosari: ​​13.36% is the percentage of high positions that the family has obtained of public positions since October 30, 1971
The positions and jobs of the Al-Dosari family have been distributed since October 1971, with the appointment of Yousef bin Rahma Al-Dosari as head of the Amiri Court in accordance with an Amiri decree. The last appointment was on March 1, 2021 of Iman Ahmed Hassan Al-Dosari as Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism in various state institutions, including 13 appointments of a director in the Ministry of Interior in addition to appointments in Diplomatic missions, judicial institutions, the Public Prosecution Office, the Supreme Council for Women and the Ministry of Labor.

Al-Nuaimi family: 41,67% is the percentage of high positions that the family has obtained of public positions between 1970 and 2021
As for the number of positions obtained by citizens of the Al-Nuaimi family, it reached 48 between 1990 and 2021 through 32 decrees (Amiri or royal) and 16 decisions issued by the Council of Ministers.
With regard to security appointments, for example, on November 25, 2000, an Amiri decree was issued appointing four officers in the Bahrain Defense Force of the rank of lieutenant. They are: Faisal Mohammed Rashid Al-Nuaimi, Hamad Hassan Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, Faisal Saud Muhammad Al-Nuaimi, and Mubarak Ali Mubarak Al-Nuaimi. On May 7, 2006, a decision was issued by the Council of Ministers appointing three directors in the Ministry of Interior, namely: Muhammad Rashid Muhammad Al-Nuaimi, Abdullah Muhammad Muhanna Al-Nuaimi, and Muhammad Ali Shaheen Al-Nuaimi. On December 13, 2006, Abdullah Ali Fadhel Al-Nuaimi was appointed undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense based on a royal decree. On January 27, 2010, a decision was issued by the Council of Ministers appointing Ali Muhammad Al-Nuaimi as a Director in the Ministry of Interior, and Muhammad Rashid Al-Nuaimi as a Deputy Director-General in the Ministry of Interior. In addition, on December 28, 2014, a royal decree was issued appointing Dhiyab bin Saqr Abdullah Al-Nuaimi as Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defense Force. On March 7, 2019, a decision was issued by the Council of Ministers appointing Muhammad Ali Al-Nuaimi as a Director in the Ministry of Interior, while Majed Ali Al-Nuaimi has been the Minister of Education since November 11, 2002.


The Al-Zayani family has held 94 positions, including 51 positions since 2001, most notably the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism
The positions that the Al-Zayani family obtained from 1970 until 2021 were distributed through 48 decrees (Amiri, royal), and 23 decisions issued by the Council of Ministers, but what is remarkable is that the number of royal decrees was 31.

By reviewing the official decisions issued between 1974 and 2021, we reach the following conclusion: The total number of appointments of the Al-Jalahma family reached 27 appointments in high official positions. However, the appointments in the period between 1974 and 1979 were limited to one person, who is Issa Abdullah Al-Jalahma, in the following administrative positions: member of the Central Municipal Commission, Chairman of the Documentation Committee in Land Sale Contract Disputes, member of the Minors' Fund Board - it is worth noting that the land file is one of the sensitive files in Bahrain. In 1992, there was one appointment for Ali Mohammed Al-Jalahma as Assistant Undersecretary for Roads and Sewers in the Ministry of Works, Electricity and Water.
