Bangladesh Bans Entry of Travelers from Bahrain
2021-06-02 - 4:27 am
Bahrain Mirror: The Bangladeshi competent authorities issued a circular banning entry of travelers from 11 states, including Bahrain.
The circular comes into effect on June 4. In addition to Bahrain, Bangladesh prevented entry of travelers coming from India, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Malaysia, Nepal, Paraguay and Trinidad and Tobago.
The British Evening Standard news website said that the UK government is likely to add Bahrain, on June 7, to the red-list as concerns rise over the Indian variant.
"Those travelling from a red list country must quarantine for 10 days at a hotel upon their return at a cost of £1750," the website reported.
