Bahrain Mirror: The High criminal Court commuted the sentence of a defendant accused of using his car horn in a mall parking lot sounding the "Down, down with Hamad" tune to 2 months in jail with the execution of sentence instead of six.
The authorities accused the defendant of "inciting hatred against the regime" after receiving a notice from a lady who was heading to her car parked in the mall parking on (June 5, 2019) when she heard a car horn being used sounding like the "Down, down with Hamad" political slogan raised by the protestors in Lualua Roundabout in 2011.
The plaintiff claims that the defendant put his head out of the car and repeated loudly "Down, down with Hamad" several times and said that she gave his car number plate to the police.
