Bahrain Mirror: The High Criminal Court commenced the trial of two Saudis who tried to use counterfeit money in 2018. 1400 counterfeit Saudi Riyals were seized from them.
The court adjourned the first hearing until July 1.
The suspects tried to buy a lighter from one of the malls on Al-Muharraq using 500 counterfeit Riyals. The Asian worker checked the money and noticed it was forged. The suspects, however, insisted that the money is real. When the worker called the security men, the suspects ran away. Both of the suspects were caught.
