43 Thousand Sheep and Cows Imported for Ramadan Month and Eid Al-Fitr

Bahrain Mirror: Directorate of the Animal Health and Control Department of the Ministry of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning said that the total number of cattle and live sheep provided for the period of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr amounted to 43 thousand sheep and cows.
The directorate said in a press statement that the imported amount was distributed on 40870 sheep and 2437 cows. It also pointed out that the quantities of red meat (refrigerated and frozen) estimated at about 21 thousand tons, while poultry meat (refrigerated and frozen) reached 25 thousand tons.
