Gov’t Statistics: 70% of Bahrain's Population Muslim and 10% Christian

Bahrain Mirror: A government census (including citizens and residents) on religious faith in the Kingdom of Bahrain, whose total population amounts to 450,000 people until 2017, recorded that those adhering to the Islamic faith reached 70.2% of the total population.
The percentage of Christians amounted to 10.2% and Jews to 0.21%, while the remaining included those who follow the Hindu, Buddhist, Baha'i, Sikh as well as other religions, who are mostly from South Asia and other Arab countries.
The census data highlighted that the percentage of citizens to foreigners was 46%, while the rest comprised Arab nationals who represent 4.7%, south Asians who represent 45.5%, Africans who reached 1.6%, europeans who amounted to 1% and expatriates that represented 1.2%.
