Jamal Fakhro, First Shura Deputy President and Hala Ramzi, Second Deputy by Acclamation

Bahrain Mirror: The Shura Council held its first session on Wednesday (December 12, 2018) where the members took the oath and the deputy presidents were elected.
At the beginning of the session chaired by Ali Saleh Al-Saleh, the members were sworn in. Jamal Fakhro was elected first deputy president by acclamation, and Hala Ramzi Fayez Qureisa was elected second deputy president by acclamation as well.
The members of the Shura Council are appointed by Royal Decree. The President is also appointed by Royal Decree, while positions such as deputy presidents and committee chairpersons are subject to election among the members.
