Court Issues Sentences Ranging between 3 Years and Life Term against 18 Suspects, Revokes Citizenship of 13 over Joining “Saraya Al-Ashtar”

Bahrain Mirror: The First High Criminal Court issued jail verdicts ranging between life imprisonment, citizenship revocation and 3 years in prison against 18 suspects accused of joining Saraya Al-Mokhtar and revoked the citizenships of 13 of them.
The court handed down life imprisonment to 4 suspects, fined each of them 100 thousand BD and revoked their citizenships. It also issued a life term against a suspect, fined him 100 thousand BD and revoked his citizenship. The court sentenced 4 suspects to 10 years in jail, fined each of them 100 thousand BD and revoked his citizenship, and sentenced 2 suspects to 10 years in prison with 100 thousand BD fine. The court handed down 7-year jail term to 3 suspects and stripped them of their nationalities, 7-year jail term against a suspect, 7-year jail term against suspect and revoked his citizenship, and sentenced 2 suspects to 3 years in jail and ordered the confiscation of seized items.
