Bahraini Pilgrim Dies, His Wife Injured in Road Accident in Saudi Arabia

Bahrain Mirror: Consul General to Jeddah Ebrahim Al-Meslimani said that a Bahraini pilgrim died and his wife was injured in a road accident in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Meslimani explained that the victim and his wife were in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah. The two were walking on their way to have breakfast, when a speeding car mounted the pavement and hit them after the driver lost control of the vehicle. They were rushed to hospital, but the man was pronounced dead.
The woman's condition is said to be stable. The Consulate General is communicating with their families to agree on a time to repatriate the body. He further stated that the embassy is closely following the accident conditions to provide all facilities to transfer the corpse and follow the situation of the injured wife.
