Bahrain Mirror: Secretary-General of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), Khalifa Al-Fadhel, said that the institution trained 880 individuals during the second quarter of this year.
He explained in a press statement that the beneficiaries included law enforcement staff, academicians, consultants, and trade unions, in addition to civil society organizations, students, human rights activists, private and commercial institutions.
The institution that was established under a royal decree trains apparatuses involved in torturing dissidents and fabricating charges against activists, aiming at whitewashing their reputations, mainly the National Security Agency that tortured dozens of activists in its building in Muharraq.
