Saudi Ambassador: Bahraini Women Allowed to Drive in Saudi Arabia Next Week & Travel between Both Countries without Mahram

Bahrain Mirror: Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain, Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh, said that Bahraini women will be able to drive and travel between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia via the King Fahd Causeway starting from 10 Shawwal (June 24, 2018).
The Saudi ambassador confirmed in a press statement that the decision allowing women to drive in Saudi Arabia will enter into force on the 10th of the Shawwal Month on the Islamic Calendar. It will also allow any woman, whether Saudi or Bahraini to drive and travel via the King Fahd Causeway, pointing out that there will be no restrictions on Bahraini women driving alone "without a Mahram" inside Saudi Arabia.
