No Casualties in Fire at USCO

Bahrain Mirror: The United Stainless Steel Company (USCO) said the fire, which broke out at its factory on Tuesday (May 22, 2018), had left no casualties.
It added in a statement that the immediate evacuation of all workers and employees prevented the occurrence of any injuries or deaths at the site of the fire, as "all workers and employees were evacuated immediately from all facilities of the factory when the fire erupted at 5:15 am."
Firefighters arrived at the scene of the fire at 5:30 am. All the plant's facilities were closed to avoid additional damages to the site and surrounding areas, resulting in limited fire damage to the plant and equipment. As a precaution, the operations of the adjacent plant, Bahrain Steel Company, were partially halted with the evacuation of all workers and employees.
