Bahrain Mirror: Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will head his country' delegation to attend the Arab League's summit, to be held in Saudi Arabia, on April 15, according to Al-Rai newspaper.

"The Arab crisis file will not be on the Arab summit's agenda for discussion," said Qatari Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Lolwah Al-khater to Turkish Anadolu news agency on Saturday.

She reiterated her country's commitment to the dialogue to solve the crisis (between Qatar and the four boycotting countries; Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Egypt and Bahrain). Al-Khater added "in case the issue is discussed, we, as we have repeatedly confirmed, are committed to dialogue in order to solve the crisis, as long as it is done within the limits of maintaining sovereignty and national interests of Qatar and its people."

The preparatory meetings for the 29th Summit are said to start tomorrow.

In addition, the Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held talks with US Central Command General Joseph Votel in Florida, on the first day of an official visit to the United States that includes meeting the US President Donald Trump on Tuesday.
