Renewing ID Cards through eKey Single-Sign-On System by End of 2017

Bahrain Mirror: CEO of the Information and e-Government Authority Mohammad Ali Al-Qaed said that the authority is working on providing service of renewing the identity cards through eKey Single-Sign-On System that allows renewing all the individual's expired cards in one step through the eGovernment National Portal, indicating that the service is expected to be launched before the end of 2017.
The eKey Single-Sign-On System is a systems that allows doing many operations in one step only, like paying all the user's bills in one step.
According to the latest statistics recorded by the information and e-Government authority, the total number of registered users in the electronic key system has reached about 200 thousand users so far. They uses are citizens, residents and Gulf investors.
