Bahrain Mirror: Saudi forces launched the dawn of Wednesday (July 26, 2017) an unprecedented attack on Awamiyah, hometown of prominent martyr Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr, whom authorities executed early last year.
Local sources said that at least 3 were martyred after forces opened fire randomly at pedestrians.
The attack led to many casualties among civilians, in addition to the damage of houses and private properties.
Authorities had executed Sheikh al-Nimr over leading pro-democracy protests, and demanding fairness and justice for the people of the Eastern Province, which is land to the Saudi oil reserve.
Saudi authorities have been seeking for months the demolition of al-Masoura Neighborhood, and the displacement of its residents.
