German Police Say they Detained Bahraini Based on International Arrest Warrant

Bahrain Mirror: The German police in Berlin apprehended a 27-year-old Bahraini national, wanted internationally over suspicion of involvement in a terrorist cell in Bahrain.
A spokesperson for Berlin's public prosecutor stated on Friday (March 17, 2017) that a special police force arrested an asylum seeker in the German capital based upon an international arrest warrant.
According to reports, the detained Bahraini is suspected of belonging to the opposition in Bahrain. The German authorities do not suspect that the detainee committed a crime.
The spokesperson said Friday that a decision about the man's extradition will be taken by a judge.
