Bahrain Mirror: The US Department of State announced that the Houthi "Ansarullah" group in Yemen are not a terrorist organization.
"The Houthis are not a designated terrorist group-- they are party to the conflict and part of the negotiations that are underway to resolve that conflict," said Justin Siberell, a counter-terrorism coordinator at the US State Department.
Siberell further stressed that the US is concerned about Iran's support for the Houthis, noting; however, that Washington does not consider this support as support of terrorist activity.
