Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's High Criminal Court sentenced five youths to life-imprisonment, including two brothers, over charges of detonating a homemade bomb in Diraz, aiming at targeting policemen.
The Public Prosecution accused the defendants of detonating explosives on December 9, 2015 for a terrorist purpose, as well as acquiring and manufacturing explosives without a license aiming at disrupting public peace.
The prosecution charged the fifth defendant of conspiring with and helping the four other defendants to commit the crime by providing the first suspect with the bomb.
The authorities claim that the fifth defendant agreed with the first to detonate the homemade bomb and with the other defendants to commit the crime.
The authorities also allege that the suspects attracted the policemen to the place where they planted the bomb and when the policemen approached, the suspects remotely detonated it and fled.
The authorities say that they identified the suspects through "investigations"
