Bahraini Court Sentences 5 Defendants to 7 Years in Prison over Kidnap & Assault of Minor

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Fifth High Criminal Court, presided over by judge Abdullah Al-Ashraf with the memberships of judges Mohsen Mabrouk and Motaz Abu Al-Ezz and Abdullah Mohammad as secretariat, sentenced 5 defendants to 7 years in prison over charges of kidnapping a 15-year-old boy, assaulting, beating and attempting to take photos of him in an abusive situation, claiming that he working as an informant for the police.
The prosecution said that the defendants, on (August 10, 2015), along with other unknown suspects, kidnapped in the Capital Security Department a minor (the victim) using force, aiming at punishing him. It further stated that they took him hostage and caused him severe physical and moral sufferings to extract confessions and punish him over an action he committed. They handcuffed him, assaulted and blindfolded him to make him confess that he is an informant.
