Bahrain Mirror: The jailed Bahraini opposition leader and Secretary-General of Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society Sheikh Ali Salman stressed that the political and economic incidents and developments have proved the authenticity of what the opposition has said before and the importance of its demands, including radical reform, for Bahrain and its people.
Sheikh Salman's official Twitter account posted: "One year of my life in prison convinced me even more of the need for a collective national salvation plan that would save Bahrain from this miserable political, economic and cultural situation".
He further stated: "There is only one option for Bahrain; the serious and compatible political solution, and all the other solutions are chaos, evasion, and destruction of the nation".
"The political solution and answering the people's demands are inevitable, the delay of the solution will cost Bahrain a lot, and the illusion that something will change the equation is useless," Sheikh Salman added.
