Bahrain Mirror: The president of Bahrain Center for Human Rights, Nabeel Rajab, said that he considers the decision to release him to be a "step he appreciates", hoping that it would be followed by another decision that "contributes to making a positive atmosphere for the families of prisoners and detainees and be a beginning of a new stage." On his Instagram account, Rajab stressed that "the danger of terrorism threatens our countries and this requires us to strengthen our unity and seek to open a new page and new era where we have dialogues to discover solutions to our crisis."
"The Bahraini King's decision to release me along with some anti-government prisoners is a step that we appreciate and comes in line with a positive framework that we are in great need of," he further stated.
Rajab also hoped that "this Eid will be a beginning to a new stage and era embodied by reconciliation and overcoming the sorrows of the past" adding that "this is a positive stage that can't be launched except by a royal decree,."
